The Rose Project Mission: Putting the parts of life back into the big picture! - Dr. Jeanette Gallagher, ND, CEO/The Rose Project, LLC
The entries listed below reflect the expanding consciousness of our world. Unique ideas are rapidly taking form. Updates will be added throughout the year.
“You cannot change the world, that is a waste of time,” and “why aren’t you working a JOB for 80 hours a week” seemed to be the run of the world. Our mission is: learning to work with the earth, the people and the life that have seemed to bypass so many in the quest for the almighty dollar or ego. Asking the questions: What is life today? Why do I want to be here? Oh cool, what was that I saw? Bringing together seekers and supporters are the goal of The Rose Project. Learn to live like the early 1900’s with the knowledge and development of the 2010’s. Is life really full circle or is it a spiral? Let us think of it as spinning out of a black hole, not into it. As the spiral grows upwards, the diameter becomes greater and can take in more light. Are you shining on that ray of light? If so, work with us. If not, contact us, we can help. Bring all the parts together to see the big picture…………………. 2012
Written below her narrative for 2010, is Dr. Gallagher’s vision of change for our healthcare system, written in March 2007. By making these statements seeds were planted in all people she spoke with. She started with healthcare as her major focus, but it is now expanding to include designing and implementing a community where the people are happy, content, loving, caring, helping one another, nurturing themselves, community and the earth, and finally, working together to share these ideals with others. It has been a long road: many people she spoke with about this vision did not understand what she was talking about, some did not understand why life needed to change, others said ‘you cannot change the world, so why are you trying’, and even still, ‘this is a waste of time, no one cares’. Dr. Gallagher cares…… 2011
Wow, how far things have come in all areas of life. It has become important to think about what is necessary to survive and how our actions affect the people around us. The beginning of this decade has bid farewell to the ego, the I, the me generations and all their excesses and superfluous bidding. The welcome mat is a bit tattered and misplaced but the decade is developing into a beautiful transition of goodness and caring for all. You may not really notice it if you watch the entertainment news. Who is leaving who is rampant. Remember the years of past when the news was ‘who is cheating on who’. Now, we are just not putting up with bad behavior or actions that hurt others. We are learning to pay attention to our intuition, our gut feelings, not the words of controlling others. It is also time not to rehash the past or those who have done what ever to whomever. Rise above it, swing your surrender flag and move on down the road. Kick the baggage to the side of the road. In the case of survival or disasters, you can’t take it with you anyway. Lighten up, eat lighter, speak less, feel more, sense more, take less in that you don’t need and just be for the moment. We did experience Katrina, Ike and Gustav and remember well what is important and what is so useless. When we left our home after several days being flooded in and no help on the way, believe me, you took what was important and what you could carry. I took my photos from my four children and a few clothes. I also took two important things that had meaning to me: the Santa Clause movie and my homeopathic book. Funny, those two things must have had a mind of their own because when I was closing the door to my car and watching the water flowing in, I dropped them both in the flood water. Ha, ha, I still have them as mementos. Time to lighten up, let go of things that in the long run are really nuts. Put your head phones on, turn the music up and dance around with your eyes closed. Know this feeling, let it wash away all that crap that decided to be the pattern of your dress. Go with the flow, make a new mark, and begin an legacy that is your soul, not your bio. Enjoy the year……….. 2011
